The Parish of Lentrathen v. James Smith [Church of Scotland Case]

The Parish of Lentrahern (Lintrathen) lying in the presbytery of Meigle belonged to the family of Airly. Walter Ogilvy granted a settlement in favor of Mr. Edward over this parish as possessor of his father's estates. Mr. Smith challenged Ogilvy's right to patronage.
