Advocate, 16 December 1766. Son of George Abercromby of Tullibody and Mary Dundas; Sheriff-depute Stirling, 1770-80; Advocate-depute 1780; Bench June 7, 1792; Lord Commissioner of Justiciary 1792. A founder of the Mirror Club.
